Happy first day of December! I’m just popping in to tell you that Diane’s Car Quilt has a new and improved name:
After seeing my post of November 25 with pictures of Diane’s finished quilt, I heard from Sandy P., a mutual friend of Diane’s and mine. Sandy said she liked the way the Flying Geese look like arrows pointing in different directions and suggested Going Places as a possible name. How clever of Sandy! It’s the perfect name for a car quilt, yes?
Love the new name! Sandy is brilliant! Great job on the new label!
Thanks, I’m normally not that creative with naming quilts but this just struck me. I am thrilled to be a small contributor to this project.
I have yet another reason to treasure this quilt – it has been perfectly named by a dear friend! Its first journey will be my return flight to Atlanta on December 10 – on my lap! No more freezing on the airplane for me.
I love the name, I think it’s perfect!
